Hot tip for guardian beacons

You will need a gauss gun
(railgun might work... I an not sure...)

No you don't. I just did my beacon with 2 small pulse lasers. The area you need to hit is by far not shown well and you need to free aim the weapon because the lock-on doesn't work and is the wrong spot.

In activated mine with 4 large shard cannons. One shot per activation.

I even used the mining lance. Worked perfectly. I only went to watch the show. Couldn’t be bothered to pick up the ancient key. Let alone trying to locate where the guardian site is. ...to use said key ? If that’s what you do.

I installed 2 beams on my DBX and fire them for 1 or 2 secs at the glowy thingy to activate the pylon.

That's the super easy part. The beacon tells you where. In fact, I thought it was going to turn into an exciting hunt with breadcrumbs along the way, but it just blatantly tells you "go to this system, planet , lat/lon". Which is ok, I'm not complaining, but just thought it was going to be a bigger thing.

Tip: You don't have to fully charge pillars like those on the ground. Shoot it or bump it few seconds until you hear click sound. They will continue to charge and assemble themselves will you activate another one.
With "leave the key, charge 2 pillars before picking" trick, you can really have the keys in no-time. Be close to scan.
You dont need ADS. Site will pop-up as soon as you enter the system.
