HOTAS control bindings lost this morning

There's no longer the Custom option in the drop-down of the control settings.

Is anyone else experiencing issues?

I've had this happen intermittently in the past, though usually in association with updates. If you haven't done so already make a copy of your custom.binds file when you've set it up again, and stick it somewhere it won't be overridden - eg your desktop. A quick forum search will help you locate it.

i just tried copying my week-old custom file into C:\Users\x\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options
but in game control settings the custom option on the drop-down no longer appears
