Ok, Apparently it's the same process get out of hyper or cruise as it is getting into. Thanks everyone, I got it.
Now why do I keep coming out before or after. The AI keeps telling me to wait until everything is in the blue. I don't know what she means by everything, I can only tell that my speed is in or out of the blue. So in hyper at almost stopped my indicator is just barely in the blue. When the numbers on the target going down from m to k, I am supposed to jump out right. If one is in hyper does one drop to super and then out or does one go right from hyper to out tottaly?
I have no problem flying, nor getting into or out of and nagociating the space station, although I take some time the station gives one all the slack they need in the tutorials. Now I've got the deploy landing gear figured out. I just cant get out of super or hyper in time. About every 6 or 7th attempt I apparently do something correct, but I don't know what because at that point I'm just grasping at straws in the dark.
To the left of the radar, is a display that shows speed and distance to target. When you have a station targeted this display will have two blue-coloured sections. As you slow down and get closer to the station (or whatever you are aiming for) indicators will appear on this display showing how far / fast you are compared to the blue-marked section.
Normally you will be going to fast, and be too far away for there to be any indicators showing on the left-hand display, it's only really used once you're going fairly slow and are reasonable close to your target.
In addition to this left-hand display is the speed indicator on the right hand edge of the main radar. This will also have a blue-marked area. Having your throttle indicator in the blue section means you will be at the optimum speed for turning, and when on approach to a target, keeping it about the middle of the blue section will allow the ships's flight computer to slow your vessel down ready to drop out of supercruise at the right time (as shown by the left-hand display)
In addition you'll get a message pop-up mid-screen when you're at the right place to drop out.
Most of the time I just use the 50% blue plus drop-out message, and that's enough. I'll only use the left-hand display if I'm checking to see if the station I'm heading towards has a non-standard drop zone (mostly you drop out from about 1Mm away, some stations can have this drop zone extended to 9 or 10Mm)
