Hotas input not detected??

Good afternoon cmdrs. Bit of an odd one. I've been playing elite with an oldish Raptor Mk1 and throttle. It's great.
Well it was till I bought odyssey last night.

I need the extra usb slot now, in order to play on foot kbd and mouse. So i plugged the stick into the throttle base (as I should have from the start) and now neither will work.
The game detects them when I set keybinds.
Windows detects them in calibrations.
But the game while in play....nope.

something lost in transition
adding new devices has confused the old order of the bind files and probably the device id's
hopefully after deleting the bindings folder and restating the game new device ids will be assigned so you can then rebind from scratch (as a fresh binding folder will be created)
read this guide on how to locate and make visible and delete the bindings folder after backing it up to desktop as a precaution before deleting it from the special game directory located on the c drive as mentioned this may be hidden and need to be made visible by ticking the windows show hidden files and folders tickbox in windows folder options

for win 11
  1. Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
  2. Select View. Go to the Show option, and select Hidden items. All hidden files and folders are now visible.

This often happens when the game client can't find a device specified in the control scheme when it launches.

Go to:
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings
Open the BindingLoadingErrors.log file. It will give you the ID of any devices that are missing. If that's the problem, you'll know from that file.
