I am stuck on a planet with the throttle of my hotas not working. Everything else works fine except throttle and thrusters. Any Ideas? Its a Logitech X56

Have you tried turning it off and on again? (unplugging?)

Recently taken off?
There are reports were the ship is shown to be in orbit while the program still believes it to be landed.
Just follow the normal take off procedure then (thrust upwards only).

Handbrake...?
On Xbox I have it sporadically that the trustes do not work when I have put them to a combined keybind which are also active in single.
E.g. O for upward thrust (in the Scarab), O+Arrows for energy handling

What I meant was rather unplugging the joystick and the throttle from each other, and/or unplugging the whole set from your PC... This usually solves the X52, maybe it will also work for X56...

I get an issue now and again with the throttle going crazy and it goes into silent running and a few other random switches tuen themselves on. To remove this variable I have ordered a powered usb hub as this seems to make a difference and may make the throttle more reliable. But it was weird what happed in my SRV with no forward or backward throttle or upwards thrusters working but all else seemed good. thewn it just started working again and I dont believe I did anything to fix it.

Edit: I did unplug the throttle and even put it ina different usb3 port but nothing worked. It just fixed itself after a long while.

Pretty sure it is an ED issue as the throttle works fine in win 10 control panel. Just didnt work in ED for a while.

It wasnt the handbrake I checked this (also the vertical thrusters stopped working as well)

If it's not broken wires inside then the powered hub will fix it. Lots of people had the same problem.
I recently broke an inside wire on the throttle and was able to fix it - worth opening it up to check if the wire bundle is snagging at all as it was in my case.

When opened up - move the levers full forward/back to see if the wire bundle is overstretched. If they are ,there is enough slack to reposition them so they won't break.
