HOTAS Products Manufacturing Quality and Prices

Sadly I put off picking up a CH throttle to buy more watercooling components. But soon. My custom throttle didn't function as well as I'd expected, which is probably my fault for trying to turn an old 360 pad into something useful instead of using better components, but oh well... Now I have an excuse for something else shiny.

If you require twist axis on the stick, I cannot recommend highly enough the Defender Cobra M5 + CH Pro Throttle combo. I went from the Thrustmaster Hotas X (which I loved and is an incredible value), to the X-55 (cheap plastic junk with tons of sticktion), to a Warthog with pedals (loved the Warthog, hated the pedals and missed yaw on twist), to my final set up. I had to order the M5 from amazon.de.

CH Products are very good. They actually have an industrial side to the business that do rugged controllers for industrial machinery. (I used some of their sticks in UAV control stations, where we depended on reliability.)

I use a Thrustmaster Cougar myself at home. Solid construction, but some of the buttons aren't as strong as they could be. You'd be lucky to find one second-hand though. They get snapped up on eBay.

I use CH Products stuff. Very sturdy, high quality plastics. Don't envision it breaking any time soon

Same here. Been using this CH Fighterstick and Prothrottle for over 7 years. Only reason I had to purchase a new set of hotas from CH was because of Microsoft attempt to screw the manufacturers by not allowing programming through the keyboard port. Back then we didn't use USB. Plus with CH you can replace parts.

Saitek X52 Pro. I've had it for well over a year and use the crap out of it daily. Flight Sim Junky! I have had CHProducts in the past and have not had any problem with them. No problems with the Saitek gear either. I am pretty rough with the stuff and expect things to break but I've had pretty good luck so far. I probably will step up to Thrustmasters Hotas gear soon just for more buttons and switches. I hate to go to the keyboard for anything.
