HOTAS reconfiguration question

I've utilized a t flight one x for a couple of years on both the ps4 and xbox. I've never had the need to double up on the various buttons one may need to depending on their play style. Well, I've taken off or in the process of replacing my short pants for long one and am presently waiting for my new warthog to arrive which because of where I live will take about two months.

Doing some research, I've seen various configs of other's in which they have what they refer to as "Modifier's". Am I correct in assuming that those are button's not associated with anything else but assisting in setting combinations of other's?

Exactly, like a "shift" key on a keyboard, you might lose that one button, but every other button can now have 2 different functions assigned to it.

This may get wacked by a moderator, but I've just recently became a citizen of SC and purchased an Avenger titian. And if at all possible am wondering if their is anyone willing to email me a copy of their particular config (xml file) for both ED and or SC?
