HOTAS throttleon/off (hold)

I use the Thrustmaster HOTAS warthog flight stick and Throttle. Having landing gear as a toggle switch seems a little out of the norm for flight simulators.
It would be great if I could use the on / off hold option like the cargo scoop. Making it an option doesn't deter from other users as they can keep it as a toggle.

I use the Red pinky button on my throttle for that purpose

Agreed. Would also like to see the same option added for hardpoints and ship lights.

Mmmm..I already have that assigned to the thrusters. I did forget about the push button on the China-Hat (thumb). So it's currently assigned to that. Still getting used to it but it seems to be pretty good so far.
