The page on eliteclub.co.uk is nice and all that, but I miss the games on the old page.
Elite / Frontier How about offering the elite games for download again?

We removed the URL to the downloads because we decided that if we were to offer them to people for free - they should be versions which work straight out of the box with modern PCs, and not require messing around with 3rd party apps and such. For this reason we're hoping to update them so they can do this, but we've not gotten around to doing it yet due to current projects in development.
I will look into temporarily restoring the links on the Anniversary website.

When you Frontier Developments guys get a moment, could you do something about Virus 2000 and Infestation too? As in an update or patch so we can use these games again. My Virus 2000 and Infestation CDs are just serving as coasters at the moment. But only if it doesn't impact too heavily on your other projects of course! Please also note, I am not asking for you to give the games away, just fix em to run on at least XP or under Dos Box even.
Just in case you don't have any copy's of the games to hand, I would be willing to send you my boxed discs (after removing the tea stains of course!)
