How about this for an idea?

Why not have a "Standby Missions" board where you can offer space on your ship to ports you're already committed to going to?

For example. I dock and collect a commodity (but either there isn't enough available to fill my ship, or I can't afford any more), maybe accept a couple of missions, plot my next couple of jumps accordingly and then choose to offer my remaining capacity on a "standby" basis effectively offering the unused capacity at a discount as my ship is going there anyway. So rather than cycle through the boards looking for missions that match my flight plans, I advertise my flight plans and see if anyone is interested.

Yes this has been discussed before and being able to more easily find more missions to the same location would be a big win. +1 from me! One problem with taking multiple smaller missions are the large increase in being interdicted by enemy NPC's which can get annoying. Still it would be a nice win.

The other huge gap that is related (in my mind) is that there are no 300-700t missions for single commanders who are rocking the bigger haulage ships. This gap is inexplicable and I have posted here many times asking Frontier to consider fixing it, but alas I don't think many CMDR's care about haulage missions these days in the Void Opal era ;)

Oh, I don't mind that. I like the bounties. But it does sometimes puzzle me. I'm flying a big, dangerous ship. And some pillock comes after me in an Eagle saying "All that tasty cargo". Which is odd, because they've got no hope. I can literally ignore them and charge FSD and jump before they get through my shields, or I can zap them without doing anything by deploying HPs and letting the turrets melt the pirate. I understand they want the cargo, I get that. But they've literally got no chance and once I have their shields down in 2.2 microseconds should chucker off. Only, they don't. So they literally waste your time more quickly than their bounties are worth.
