How big is the new patch??

Just logged into the client, and it had a new launcher to download.
Once that got started, It started "sync files"
But going at 4MB/s, its expecting to take 2 hours!

That would amount to 29 GB..???

must be the big fleet carriers ;)

my Xbox updates automatically i cant remember the last time i sat around waiting for it

New patch? I wonder if you've been off line for a short while?
I just logged on with no download delay. There have been updates in the last few weeks, and yes, they did take a while to come through.

(re carriers - I thought those were delayed ... check out other threads)

I've got 2 copies of ED installed on PC.

The Steam version always completes the updates much faster than the frontier launcher even begins the download. Unfortunately I've got my alt account on Steam and my main account using the frontier launcher.

True, guys, the last login was 2-3 months ago.

Still this is a lot compared to the usual. Usually it ends up less than a GB or at most a couple of GB, but 29GB, I haven't seen.

So if there hasn't been a major set of updates recently, I'll just assume something is wrong with my files - or else, like someone suggested, the estimate might have been wrong.
