How can I change my HUD color scheme?

Saw a youtuber with a really cool green looking HUD and I'd love to have that too. Also his weapons where emitting the same green color too. Can I alter my weapon beam/tracer/etc color too?

Weapons are a purchase option in the arx shop. Hud colors can be changed on pc only but I don't have the link to hand of what to play with - there is a thread on here called no2o though about it.

There's also Elite Dangerous hud mod (EDHM) for PC which allows for more detailed and individual adjustments of the HUD colour scheme, including the cockpit lighting. But it comes at the cost of a small amount of performance (~5%) as it's running over the top of ED.

NO2O thread Bottom Hat mentions for the 'traditional' XML method...

Frontier were so lazy on this they allowed hacks into the code to do what they just weren't gonna? U can't without API'S and we're more orange for it.

Not sure if you know but I'm having an issue extracting EDHM files into the correct folder. The pdf says to extract to C:\..\Elite Dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-64

I do not see this for me. My folder is under Program Files(x86)/Frontier/EDlaunch

At a guess you have the game installation files at this location

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\elite-dangerous-64\

You can copy that ^ to the address bar in a window and it will take to the DIR if it exists.
