How can I change the floor of a flat ride?

In PC1 I believe you just changed the queue and it would change the pattern of the flooring of a flat ride. I am struggling to figure this out right now - it is not done by adding scenery, and it isn't automatically happening when adding a queue.

Some of the blueprints for flatrides have queue oriented flooring, so I do believe this is possible.

Edit:

I figured it out on my own.

You choose the path brush, and this allows you to highlight the ride. It changes the tile underneath the ride.
