How can I find planets with Crystalline Shard?

I am not a new player but I am new to the engineering part of the game. I made my riches with trading so far and now I am looking to upgrade my Anaconda. What is the best way to do it in Odyssey without exploits? All the tutorials on the internet point to Crystalline Shards. I don't want the planet or system names, I would like to be able to find my own. I went to the sites from the tutorial and its nothing there. How do you guys stock up on materials? I just deployed my SRV on a planet and I just shoot rocks and I get stuff like Zinc. , Iron, Sulphur.

If you look at the material composition of a body you are told the percentages of the raws that occur there, Iron, Sulphur and Phosphorous are generally the highest, with others much lower.

The Crystalline Shard sites appear on the edges of sectors I think, I know I found quite a few out near Beagle Point... Those may be best to look up the known ones closest to the bubble and making the trip out, they are great places to visit.

Thanks! You just helped me a ton, I never looked at the composition of the body. What do you mean by Crystalline Shards appearing on the edges of sectors? How can I know where is the edge? In the info page its says its found on airless planets with vulcanic activity with a minimal distance of 12,000 lightseconds from the system's main star. Does this mean I could find it in the bubble?

In the info page its says its found on airless planets with vulcanic activity with a minimal distance of 1500 Ly from Sol. Is that the edge of a sector? I would prefer to avoid gameplay loops and other easy solutions because I want to learn this part of the game also because to me its fun hunting/discovering planets with resources.
If you look for one of the shard sites - so search for it on the Galaxy Map - then zoom the map out until the sector names appear (which is one of the display options - so you may need to ensure it is selected) I believe you'll see the body is near the edge of the sector. (The GalMap is quite large, so scroll out until the sector names and shapes appear)
