how can i find station with high end equiments for any ship ?

I have a python and I can't seem to find a 6A shield generator or even a sensor anywhere, there is any tool out there that can help us find the high end gear for our ship ?

For in the future - High Tech with High Population systems usually have good selections.

Go into your star chart and push the population slider toward higher populations. Then choose economy 'high tech' - then look at the map and plot your course!
