how can I search for Methanol Monohydrate Chrystals

Hi there,

I am in system called Te Kaha at the moment, trying to become allied with Sirius Corp and Marco Qwent. They offered me a mining Mission to find Methanol Monohydrate Chrystals. Rewarding Modular terminals. So a win win situation. :)
The problem is, I can't find any methanol Monohydrate hotspots. I used spansh.co.uk to find Bodies with icy Rings in pristine Systems. But after visiting and scanning 5 Systems and 10 Planetrings I only found Tritium,Void Opals, LTDs, Alexandrite, Bromelite etc and I begin to wonder whether I am using the right strategy.

Am I doing this right or did I miss something? Are there Internet tools to find the seldom used minerals?

Just buy some from a carrier. Nearest one to you is in the HIP 4351 system and it's called the Lone Wolf [By Ltd]. How many do you need?

Sounds like a commodity to be bought from industrial/refinery/extraction systems.

I've tried using 3rd party tools to source stuff from FCs, but most attempts ended with the FC not having what I needed when I got there, so I have given up on visiting FCs. If there was an in-game way to see what FCs offered, in realtime, I'd take them off my perma-filter. For now, they are clutter.
