How can I trigger a new research?

Hi,

I am playing the pirate scenario and I dont have any available items to research..
Do i need to do anything for new options to become available?

I could be wrong, but I think you can only research a set number of things for campaigns. It's the first mission, so lots of stuff won't be available til you progress further and do more missions.

Ahh, so each mission adds more content to the previous?
So if i researched a ride on mission #1, will it be available from the start of mission #2?

no each mission has set content and once you research it then thats all you get for that one
