You can't.

You can, but you have to realize and accept fairly early on that you are going to have to shoot past your intended destination in order to do so.

It’s very tough. You have to change your approach vector without losing the interdiction. This means giving a big advantage to whomever is attempting to interdict you. Not impossible but extremely difficult. Best to evade the approach in the first place.
