How can we add more train & 2 coaster station?

Hi Guys!

I work on a spinning coaster and i noticed that I can't run more than 7 cars even with block section... Is it really impossible to add more cars? 7 cars is really a low capacity level/hour with a 110 seconds ride length.

Second question is about the station, is ti possible to build 1 loading station and 1 unloading one because @ this time I can't.

Regards!

Only Transport rides are currently allowed to have more than one station.

You need to have 1 more block section than cars/trains. The station and the lift hill make two automatically. So to have 10 cars, you need at least 8 block brakes. I just made a silly spiral coaster than has 8 block brakes and it can go to 10 cars. Do you only have 5 actual block brakes on your track?

Since you can't build two stations (one for load and one for unload), Your max through put is your load/unload time. This is true for any coaster, any length, any type. If that is 15 seconds, than for your coaster (at 110 seconds), max cars you would ever want would be 7. If it is a 10 second load time, you might get up to 11 if designed perfectly.

Just putting 7 block brakes right before you station will kill your ratings because cars will sit and wait too much. Each section must be about the same amount of time or cars will wait and sit somewhere. I typically design multi-train coasters with 2 more block sections than trains to avoid this waiting problem. (2 train coaster would have two block breaks. I will time the lift hill and make my first block brake be just under that lift time. Then I will make the next block brake even a bit smallerthan the lift hill (typically just before the station). Game would allow 3 trains, but only 2 work without stopping.)

If you just make a longer station you can get up to 20 cars without block brakes on the spiral coaster, but if you ride is shorter than 20 times your load time, cars will sit in the station holding the guests until it is the front car and will also kill your ratings. Again, max throughput would be your load/unload cycle time.

Bottom line: Never use more cars than your ride time divided by your load time. Adding cars after that does nothing for you other than killing your ratings.

I recommend making your lift hill match your load time for best designs and max through put.

Edit: I define ride time as the time it takes for one train/car when it is the only one on the track. If you include all the wait times with multiple cars running (as planet coaster does) the formula won't work.
