How can you tell if a station has a large landing pad ???

hello fellow CMDRs, is there an easy way to tell if a station has a large landing pad ? or i know most outposts dont allow this but a few do, is there a set rule for each type of station ie

Dock
Hub
Base
Station
City
Port
Platform
Outpost - upto medium Size
Orbital
Enterprise
Settlement
Horizons
Vision
Ring
Terminal
Hanger

just to name a few choices out there ?

is there is a simple rule of thumb for these ? (i know some may allow a large but as a simple rule of thumb if most dont then its a no), if and when i get the info i will update the OP to give a simple size allowed

Have a look on the System Maps before you go there. They have a schemeatic that shows the sort of station if it looks like a Coriolis or Orbis slihouette you're okay if it looks like a landing pad you aren't it will only take Small and Medium ships.

Even easier way to tell without going into the system map: if you have to purchase the cartographics for the system then it does not have a station with a large landing pad. All systems with stations with large landing pads you have the cartographic information already for free.

If it takes you in, it's a Station and has S/M/L pads. If you land on it, just S/M as a rule of thumb.

unsanctioned stations can only land small ships.
normal platforms can take small and medium
large stations, the ones you fly into, can take all 3.
