So I was doing some fuel scooping in some remote system, when i saw a blip on the radar coming towards me.
Knew it was going to be an interdiction, but spent too long scooping before trying to get out of there and he grabbed me.
The interdiction didn't last long. About 2 seconds in, I got the "Too Close! Emergency stop!" message, and got dumped out of SC.
The interdictor was gone (hopefully flung into the star
), but i was left about as close as you can get. Fortunately I wasn't taking any heat damage, so got to spend some time looking around.
My first view after getting dumped out of SC

a couple more shots while cruising around the surface...

It was really fun to just watch it. The solar flares and magnetic loops popping up and moving across the surface. Cool stuff!
Thankfully there were no flares directly under my ship.
