I was er... loitering around Lembava doing missions and er... accidentally managing to kill someone who wasn't wanted. When I realised I was in Lembava it was a bit of an <expletive deleted> moment.

Coming back in was fun as twice I got scanned on the way in and my docking privileges were revoked. I had to exit to SC and come back in again in "smuggler" mode. I took more damage landing than in the expedition which I netted ~10m

The wiki page is now saying 165m for elite, but that can't be right as I was on 90% Pioneer about 10m ago. It must be around 161-162m.

BTW I only started playing after 1.2 so there isn't any historical exploration credits in there.

The wiki page is now saying 165m for elite, but that can't be right as I was on 90% Pioneer about 10m ago. It must be around 161-162m.

BTW I only started playing after 1.2 so there isn't any historical exploration credits in there.

My understanding is that it's 164m less 50% of what you earned prior to release of 1.2. I hit pioneer at 44M and my progress moving though to Elite has been at the rate of 1% every 1M, so I expect to hit Elite at 144M (34%/34M to go).

And... I've logged back in and am now elite. The CG pay out isn't showing against my Exploration profits, so I doubt its that

Well I got it on 160.5m, and I'm pretty sure I only got the game after 1.2 came out, and I certainly didn't do any serious exploring until then.
