Maybe they cost fish?
Yes, No.Where they massively cheap to enable testing or closer to current (or at least release) pricing?
ThanksYes, No.
I have to agree that the Alpha and early Premium Beta period was Elite Dangerous at its best. The Economic Sim hadn’t been dummied out due to players whining on having to haul base commodities to regenerate the high profit ones, Supercruise was simulateously faster (for hands on Pilots) and less forgiving of poor technique, Monty Haul Campaign rewards were the result of credit exploits rather than the norm, and newbies could be expected to stay in small, cheap ships long enough to learn from their mistakes.God remember those days. I'd bought my first HOTAS several months earlier expecting to use it playing STAR CITIZEN! Found out about the ED alpha and played that ever since. Those heady days in alpha and beta were marvelous.
Yeah I came from SC too, what a clusterF that one was.God remember those days. I'd bought my first HOTAS several months earlier expecting to use it playing STAR CITIZEN! Found out about the ED alpha and played that ever since. Those heady days in alpha and beta were marvelous.

From a Sidey straight to a Cobra!? Posh parents, eh?I don't recall the price, but when I got my first ship upgrade from a Sidey to a Cobra I felt like a god.

I was happy as a child when I traded in my Sidey for a 10 years old E-rated Eagle...
