Newcomer / Intro How do I access my other ship.

Okay, I feel like an idiot. When you read this post, you might agree with me on that point. I bought the mercenary edition, and so I got a free Eagle fighter (yay!). However, I am here sitting in the starport where I started, and I can't seem to figure out how to get out of my Sidewinder and into my Eagle. I know I am in the right station. I see the little shield that shows me I have a ship there. When I go to other, bigger stations, I can see how I might do it there, but in this little starport I am starting in, I can't seem to find the options.

I've tried reading through the manual and searching through the forums to find the answers, but alas, I cannot. I am wondering if somehow I got a buggy start and they stored my ship in a place where ships can't really be stored. Can they be stored in the smaller starports as well as the bigger stations?

Anyway, I would love to know the answer so I can take my Eagle for a spin, and most likely get decimated by underestimating the first bounty target I go after.

Is there a shipyard located at that station? If not, is there another station in the system with a shipyard? You should be able to access your Freagle in that specific system from a station with a shipyard. The shipyard is located in the stations main menu - from there it's the 3rd tab on the top (Stored Ships).

There is a shipyard in the system. I will have to go there and see if that works. So, under Stored Ships, I assume there will be an option to select it and enter it, corret?

Yes, the tab will be on the right and it will even tell you where your ships are located.

Also, System Map will have a blue icon of a ship at any station where you have ships stored, to avoid hunting around for the right station.
