Hey all, just a quick question regarding whether or not I can play the game now. I've been following Elite Dangerous for a while now, and I am itching to get into the game. I wish to purchase the game and start playing as soon as possible. At the store I notice there seem to be two separate editions: The Mercenary Edition and the Beta Access which doesn't seem to be available anymore. My question is this - If I buy the Mercenary Edition, will I be able to jump into the game as it it currently exists, or will i have to wait for the official release date?

to what i believe if you preorder merc edition before release, you get access to the tutorials until then and nothing more, but im sure someone else will correct me if im wrong
