How do I attract more visitors? (Winter scenario II)

Heya everyone,

I've been playing planet coaster for somewhat like a week now and cleared the easy and medium campaign scenarios with max rating before I now started the winter scenarios. The first one was done pretty quick but I am struggeling with the second one to get the gold rating.

The reason: No matter what I do, I can't get more visitors to my park. I have a parkrating of 1000+, pretty much every ride which can be build but the amount of visitors keeps going in a sinus curve from 350 to 550 which causes the park to create quite a loss when the bottom of the sinus is reached with 350 visitors. It's impossible for me to get 3500$ over a period of three months (OK, honestly, I have not reached it even once in this scenario).

Are there other other factors which influence the amount of visitors? I dont' have any rides marked as "old", the visitors are happy (no yellow bars in the park management overview) and ... yeah. I'm kinda stuck there.

If you have any ideas what other reasons there could be (does "park size" matter? Like in m²?) I'd be happy to learn them. Other than that, this game has caught me pretty good.

Thanks in advance
- Aar

Yeah, the max amount of visitors I recieved there was 598.

Probably 600 is the max amount of visitors, but it rapidly drops under 500 if you dont build a new ride.
Other rides get less visitors over time.

3500$ is impossible for me aswell.

That scenario is the WORST!

The 600 peep cap is the problem, not ride aging.
The solution you are going to hate, is that you simply have to wait until your rides are "Reviving" and "Classic" so you can charge a LOT more.
The Zipper was the most profitable charging $28!!!

In the end, I met the profit goal with 4 rides and 1 roller coaster operating. The other 7 flat rides were all shut down to stop operating costs.

You literally have to put the game on 3x speed and go watch a movie or read a book, and just let the game run for 15+ years.
This scenario was harder than the final scenario.

Wow @Bitter Jewler, thanks alot for the advice. Maybe the scenario was meant to introduce the player into the basics of "Reviving" and "Classic" - a little hint would have helped though ;-)

Thanks again, will go for that version.

Just as a update: I followed your advice and shut down everything exept the Zipper (Kickflip), Baloon Race (Aeronauts), Overpower and that Chain carousel thingie + my roller coaster.

While waiting for the time to pass I suddenly hit the gold star goal...so basically it seems to be possible if you're not to ambitious with building rides. Still thanks Jewler, without your advice I would not have tried ;-)

You're welcome.

Someone else showed how to beat it in 2 years.
Seems I got to deep into it to recover. LOL

Ah well...

I had to do this scenario twice over as the first time I hit the "guests stuck on stairs" path, and didn't notice til I started losing money hand over fist and wondered where all the guests had gone! After that I was trying to cut running costs as much as possible.

Second attempt was much quicker - think I managed to win it in under 3 game years with the strategy of building only the more profitable flat rides (the air balloon ride in particular seemed to be a favourite with the guests) and researching and building several souvenir shops (and jack the prices up). Adding a hypercoaster once I could afford it, which I could then charge over $22 a ride for made the money just roll in.
