How Do I Create Bigger Paths

Hello

How do i create a very large path, for example imagine a big open space and i want to pave it all, like a big massive square section of pavement how is this done.

I don't have the game open so I can't give you exact instructions which menus to open. but basically it's done by laying paths right up next to each other, and then criss-cross. If you use the sharp corners option (you have to select a grid) and hold down CTRL to stop them snapping in the wrong directions it's possible to make a large plaza-like paved area

Click "select grid" while building a path, once you have selected a grid, you can build path however you want. Hope this helps. I'll be making tutorial videos tonight.

I've wondered this too. I want to see your tutorial video. I am not sure exactly what the grid does when you select it.

I've unfortunately gotten a major cold, so I have not made the videos yet. But I can try to explain better... in the path tool you select whatever path you want, on the bottom right you have path options, you hit select grid, not youre going to go to whatever object or path you want to connect this larger path too and hover over until you see a blue 3x3 grid, once you see that left click (now youre in grid mode) and you now select any square on the grid to build a piece and your path will expand. There's an option for square edges if you prefer that. If this still didn't help, try adding me KingMario5, I'll try and show or teach you, but I just can't make a video at the moment until I'm better.

Actually, there's an option to increase the size. On the right hand side of the path placement tool, you can click the cog wheel which will open the setings menu for path placement. There, you can change the width and length of your path placement. :)

How do i build paths bigger than the max size?
