How do I edit park boundaries but keep as sandbox

I wanted to take my existing sandbox and just use the scenario editor to expand the park boundaries and move the spawn point. But after doing so, it seems my park is now saved as a scenario. Is there a way to save the park as a sandbox again?

This was doable in RCT3, where you had the option in the scenario editor to save the park as a scenario or just save the park as-is. Maybe it's not necessary here, as I can set up a scenario with unlimited funds, which is essentially a sandbox. But thought I'd ask the group.

There should be the option to load as sandbox on the icon for the save game in the load menu.

Thanks BJ, you'd think so , but I don't see that choice. Here's what I did and see:

1. I opened my sandbox with "Edit as new Scenario"
2. The only option at the save state seems to be to save it as a scenario
3. On the My Parks menu the park doesn't appear in my park list (naturally)
4. On the My Scenarios menu the only options are Play, Edit Scenario, Upload to Workshop and Delete.

When I choose Play, the park loads as a scenario and when you save the park it's categorized as a "Custom Scenario". I don't need objectives or any of the other scenario settings - I just want to build. Seems like the best way is now to work on the park in the scenario editor.

Well, that's weird.
Career scenarios show up in the load park list with the option to play as sandbox.

I just tried that maybe a solution.

1. Open your sandbox with "Edit as new Scenario"
2. Save it as Szenario when you're done with your changes
3. Play it as Szenario and save the Game
4. This savegame can now be found in the My Parks tab and can be opened as Challenge and Sandbox

Ah, I did everything except try to open the saved scenario back from the May Parks tab. Will try it today.

I wonder if they can fix that, like so that we can open parks either way without saving 4 copies. I know we can delete saves, but I wish I could organize all my saves into various folders of my choosing. The tabs for "download" and "my parks" should just be a filter, not two separate lists.
