How do I engage the hyper drive?

I have left the space station, have flown out into space such that there are no space objects to mass lock my jump, I have retracted both the cargo scoop and the landing gear, have selected the I Bootis system from the navigation map and when I select to engage the hyper drive I get the following message:

Frameshift cancelled: Hardpoints, gear or scoop deployed.

Can I please have some help to use the hyper drive?
