How do I find a friend in the game?

So me and a friend both got the premium beta, and I was wondering how we find each other? Every time we go to the same system he isn't there. Also once we find each other is there currently any way to stick together without being split up on the next jump?

• When you log in to the game BEFORE you click the 'multiplayer' button you will see in the top left which server you are on.
• One of you make note of that and tell it using some 3rd party means to your friend.
• The other person repeatedly presses the play on the launcher, loading the game up and looks at that number....
• Rinse and repeat until the great big spaghetti monster graces you with the same server.
• Then once you are both on the same server, arrange (again via 3rd party tool) where to meet.
• Touch wood you'll see eachother...

Fingers crossed this will get better in Standard Beta with the introductions of friends and stuff...

You must be on the same server.

Yesterday I met with 3 of my colleagues in Eranin , nire Azeban City.

In Beta 1 will be Friends List. It will be easier to meet.
