How do I find Conflict zones?

Haven't noticed any good way to spot them, but plenty of them are actually going on. They do not always show up when you jump into system though, you need to get close enough to spot those. Usually near the stations though. There is supposedly some logic that if one of the system factions get Boom status, there will be civil war in the system soon after?

I really wish these were announced in the Gallnet news feed on all stations or marked in the galaxy map somehow. What's the point having a game *feature* you can only come across by accident or by trial and error. The game's mechanic for getting around is boring enough without having to jump from system to system trying to find these zones. I am getting so sick of chasing USSs all over the place trying to do kill missions - your objectives spawn at random intervals and the same rubbish ones seem to spawn with monotonous and frequent regularity. If I have a mission to hunt pirates, then gimme damn pirates more often than stupid T9 idiots seeking all manner of crap you can't give them anyway or all manner of stolen junk floating around in space that nobody wants or needs. Ah - and while I'm ranting ... make these kill missions worth my while to risk life and limb for - Kill 6 Pirates for 6k credits? Seriously?! My fuel cost more than that just looking for them. </end rant>
