Newcomer / Intro How do I find Gateway History After taking my tourist to a visitor beacon

My mission said Transport rich tourist etc... to LHS 3781 Visitor beacon and then Gateway History.... I cannot find Gateway history... I am going crazy trying to find out about in in Google and YouTube tutorials can anyone help me with this... I am a newbie to ED but am having a lot of fun trying to carry passengers..

If you open up the mission in the left hand panel, does it not give you a location in the mission description? It sounds like it’s just another beacon in another system.

Or you could try searching the galaxy map for Gateway. Perhaps it’s here?

as XloubellXX said, just use the mission itself in the nav panel\transactions\ - Open Galaxy Map, It will take your map to the system you need...

Thanks but I have tried that. The Map Does Not go to a place with Gateway History listed on it.. IT says GATEWAY HISTORY.. I have been to Gateway HQ etc and and still confused as to what I need to do to complete my mission.. Maybe I will just take the Passenger back to where I picked her up and kick her out as I have been to may different laces here and Cannot find the solution.. There is NO PLACE in the Nav map area named Gateway History.

Are you in the destination system? Your contacts panel will have a destination highlighted in blue (mission target). It won't necessarily say "Gateway History" though. Fly to this target. Once you get close enough a Point of Interest (POI) will appear, similar to a Nav Beacon. Fly there, drop out of supercruise. You'll find a "Gateway History" tourist beacon of some type. Target and scan the beacon. Mission objective complete!

Hang on, I might have misinterpreted. You're having trouble finding the location of the destination system??
Firstly, have you visited the first beacon (LHS 3781 Visitor beacon)? Once you get there and have scanned the beacon, your client will say thanks, here are the coordinates for the next destination. They will be in your comms panel (upper left).

Its difficult to plan ahead with tourist mission. You kinda have to just go with the flow.

can you provide a screenshot of the mission?

that might help us better see what it wants

really just want to determine if its a 2 destination mission and if so where they both are

curious, when you select open galaxy map from the mission itself, where/what is it displaying? as in when the map opens what system is displayed in the center of the screen?

Thank you all for the help.. I did finally get to Gateway Histery Bt even after that I kicked my passenger out . She was wanting me to buy commodities etc. AND I do not kow enough about the Game to do some things that was being asked... LOL... oh well maybe I better just do one way transports till I get the hang of it more... Thanks for the help I did get here from you folks... It actually took me something like 18 jumps to get from where I was to Gateway History I was in LHS 3781 at the visitor Beacon there... Thanks Guys but I left her at a little place I don't remember the name of it... lol...

Yeah, everyone has dropped off an annoying passenger. Lucky for her it wasn't the airlock. Keep at it CMDR.

Just some infomration for next time: you don't actually need to go and get any commodities your passengers demand - it's a purely optional side-quest, for bonus credits. The passenger might get slightly upset if you refuse, but the mission will usually survive your passenger getting slightly upset.

And for future reference: always check the destination chain before you accept the mission. It usually tells you how far away each port is from where you currently are, but doesn;t tell you how far apart the ports are from each other.

Yeah, everyone has dropped off an annoying passenger.

Not me. 347 happy (or at worst slightly annoyed) passengers delivered, not one failed mission.
