How do I finish a mission?

I must be missing something obvious. Just started the game and noticed a simple sounding delivery mission going to the same sector the starter mission was so figured I'd do it since I was heading there anyway.

It's Boom Data Delivery to Ackerman Market.

I docked (very slowly, but managed it) at Ackerman Market but can't see an option to finalise the mission?

The brief just says "deliver to Ackerman Market" and that I'll be paid on delivery.

How do I go about delivering it, I'm at Ackerman now.

Cheers, got it. New it was something obvious I was missing.

I'll post another question here, about trading. Galactic Average means what most stations would pay, right? So if the current station is selling something at 16 credits and it has an average of 120 I'll make a profit on it?

Or are there other factors which come into play like how many are available and the average is over a period of time rather than the average current price, if that makes sense? And the average current is around 16 credits but the average throughout the game time has been 120?

Also if you have more than one mission to the same station, but to different factions a small maker will be against the factions you need to deliver to.

That is exactly how trading works in the game... find a station/platform/base that has a huge supply selling for cheap and transport as much as possible to another station that has demand. Your example serves that model. You do have to pay attention to the supply numbers and demand numbers. Supply might be running low so they'll only have as much of the product as listed. Even though it might be selling for 16, they may only have 3 left. Profit margin will be the same, but is it worth it for only 3? That is up to you. Use this for an outside source: http://www.elitetradingtool.co.uk/

Cheers

I've only got 4 spots in my starter ship so I'll leave trading and just do missions so I can build up to one of the Haulers. Trading and delivery missions seems the way to scrape a living here, at least early on.
