how do i fix reputation

Ok so i foolishly picked up an extra rebel transmission and then promptly got scanned and found out.

My federation reputation is now unfriendly, how do i get it back?

I have done loads of trading since in federation systems, picked up simple missions where i can but four days later i'm still at unfriendly

and worse still when i trade at some stations my rep is getting worse ( downward red arrow )

I don't have stolen cargo, no fines / bounty outstanding.

Please what do i need to do?

Having a similar problem myself, I have around 40 hrs invested in doing missions for one particular system faction in Alliance space. The mission reports state that I'm friendly and they also show that I have increased the fractions influence on the system, but when I check the status page, nothing has ever changed, until today after successfully completing 4 missions my status is now unfriendly for 2 fractions in the system and also the Alliance itself.

To be honest I feel this game has been released to early.

May or may not be the case but, if you end up in a shoot out with a 'wanted' ship, jut be careful they aren't affiliated to your chose faction, you can lose a lot of rep very quickly.

But to the OP question... how do you fix your reputation? The question is simple but it seems like there isn't a simple answer. I think most of us that have somehow got an 'unfriendly' with Federation/Alliance/Empire would like to know *exactly* what you do to reverse that rating.

E.g. if you're a Federation 'Unfriendly', do 5 zero-credit missions for any faction allied to the Federation.

Anyone actually know? I've done a few zero-credit missions but I can't work out if my reputation is moving at all (it's still 'unfriendly').

if i see a donate cargo then i will do it...

if not firing on anything, i submit to all security fsd interdictions.

can't work out why my rep is still going downwards !!
