How do I fix the textures?

They aren't fully loading, and I can't figure out which settings I have to tweak to make them work. The ones that do manage to load are great, but those are few and far-between. As things are now, almost everything looks like polygons that had the ever-loving heck beat out of them with hammers. If there's any guidance on this, I would be very grateful to hear it.

If the basic fixes (clearing caches, updating drivers, and turning down texture quality) don't work, chances are the game is going to need a patch, or you'll need more VRAM.

Thank you for that insight. I'm still scratching my head wondering why this is an issue for me even on the lowest settings when my rig was running Horizons on high settings without a hint of trouble, but it's good to be reminded that it's still a very new update and numerous patches and fixes are, no doubt, already in the works. ^_^

Silver lining: at least I'm not having the FPS issues everyone else seems to be having.

I have same issue... the game looks like am under mesa mountain playing halflife. i have tweaked every tweakable variable in this one and it comes down to the texture/shader loading mechanism used as being intellectually challanged, as much as my senile 102 year old great grandmother. In some way however I breathe a sight of releif because this is the first case of someone with my exact same problem I find online. the only difference i am on a 1060. have done reinstalls, cache clearings. Its the DLC, it needs patching. Its like watching the game in retro mode...how it would be if it was 1999.
