If you play on a Console (XBox or PlayStation) there is no way to do it.
If you play on PC, get the Elite Dangerous Discovery software. https://github.com/EDDiscovery/EDDiscovery/wiki
Set up an account with EDSM and/or EGO and configure the software to sync with those web sites.
EDSM has some records but is mostly for logging your data.
EGO has more detailed records, but doesn't have the kind of user profile features that EDSM has
Note: These don't just submit records. They submit all jumps and scans. The web site then determines what if anything is a record breaker.
Thanks for the replies, I was talking about galactic records for example largest waterworld etc.
I already use EDDiscovery, sound slike I need to sync with EGO.
If you are already using ED Discovery, I assume you're syncing to EDSM but you also need to sync to EDDN if you want the data from DSS scans to be sumbited.
If you are syncing to EDDN, any scans you have done will show up in EDSM and eddb.io.
Any EDSM records you may have discovered would be listed on this page and you would have the badge "Bigger, Smaller, Hotter, Colder"
Yeah, people should use EGO a lot more. It's the best (only real) record book we've got left for Elite. EDSM is nice for tracking, though the layout doesn't work as a record book / finder /comparison thing.
I have several celestial 'record breakers' noted on EGO but none on EDSM, why is that?
