How do I get VA to open in the correct pane of a window

Take the new "orbit line on/off" .. it is on the right UI in the functions..

Now if I go into that right UI and say, look at my cargo, then close the right UI, next time the right UI opens it is in the cargo pane. This would mean I can't pre-assign a VA to the correct pane without a way to reset the window to the 1st pane or it is subject to be in the wrong place.

That make any sense? Trying to describe something visually in text is a bit odd.

Basically I want to set the new orbit lines to a VA command.

You have to make sure anytime you use the pane you always close it on the same tab.

If opened and used with VA just reset it before closing it again. If you view it manually it's just a case of remembering.

Check out this old post - https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=43582 this guy knows shis stuff, theres a nice routine in his VA profile that automates the 'request docking' - This set of commands does a similar thing to what you need for your problem.

I saw a thread last night (think I just searched voice attack) where the poster was setting variables to the tabs and his macrose could the determine how to get to other tabs relative to the one it was on. He had a command to set the current active tab if he had moved it manually.
Will see if I'm can find it but at least sounds like it's possible to do.
