How Do I Jettison Cargo?

I picked up some cargo that ended up being illicit. I found the keyboard command for PC, but how do you do it on the Xbox? It couldn't find the abandon cargo option anywhere.

its on the right hand side panel, go to the tab that shows the content of your cargo hold, select the cargo you want to ditch and you are given 2 options, jettison or abandon.

Why would you NOT want to haul "illicit" cargo? Being that this is a BETA TEST of a pre-release version, our progress is going to be reset at least once between now and the end of the program and the final retail release of the game. You may as well experience ALL ASPECTS of the game now while you have the chance, and worry about being squeeky clean later when we start in with our FINAL VERSION save file.

At least that is what I would suggest. Besides that... You don't get any browny points for being a "Goody Two Shoes"! lol!


The fines are always much smaller than you usually get paid by the agent to haul that same cargo. Just be sure to be quick about delivering whatever it is so you don't keep getting scanned and fined everywhere you go!

Ah, that's where it would be. I just picked up some stuff I found at weak signal points, and it would let me use that tab until I had a cargo scanner installed. Thanks for letting me know!

Thanks for the advice. I think I know what the problem was. I couldn't see my cargo, and I should have went to a station with a black market. I'll know for the next time.

You still give the cargo at the designated port you're supposed to deliver it to.
