How do I join 2 paths from different grids?

I have been working on different parts of my park and used the path grids, however I am trying to join 2 paths, both on different grids but I either get "obstructed" or some very weird joins with gaps.

I have attached an image to show the 2 different paths I need to join. Have I missed a way to do this or is this a normal issue?

Just discovered that I can't post images/attachments for some reason.

Gridded paths can only connect to other path segmenets on the same elevation on the same grid. Which means that to connect paths at different levels of the same grid, or 2 different grids, or to ride entrance/exit gates, or shops, or whatever, you need to leave a gap in the grid and use non-gridded paths to make the connection between. If you're getting "obstructed", you didn't leave enough space for the non-gridded connection to fit between.

Thank you for your responses. I moved the grid pieces back enough to create a normal path from one grid which found the other quite easy.

As for the attachments, in the bottom right of my main screen it says I do not have permission to post attachments. Everything else is fine though.
