How do I lower jaggies and also get rid of occasional stutter?

My pc is pretty good I think. 7900xtx and recently updated to a 9800x3d

But I still get occasional stutter. Like dropping out of SC around a station. What can I look at to try and reduce it?

Then there's the jaggies. I'm sure I played around with the aliasing settings when I first got the 7900xtx, but couldn't seem to get.much difference.

So looking for tips. Turn that up, turn that down, enable/disable this or that in the AMD driver.

I play at uw 3440 and aim for 120fps. But I'd live with 60 if it was like butter.

i drink i have no need for AA discusions i dont have a problem cheers!;)

Wait, what! the FC Bar(man/woman/person) is now serving BEER? That is utterly, utterly fantastic news, I will try at my own FC when I log in at weekend whilst the next CG is on!............. Bring It On......I want a snake bite for quick effect.

If I want a beer in-game I go to Mass Effect 3 and drink a few and do a wobbly dad-dance.

As I mention in that other thread, try FXAA x1.0 or x1.25 (or higher if your hardware can cope with it). It should result in better antialiasing.

You need to play Deep Rock Galactic.

Thanks. I did try it from the other thread - looked good in the station, but I didn't like the way the vertical yellow lines you get when flying were jiggling about.
For now I have off and supersample 1.5 which is definitely improved (I'm not cracking the s at the orbit lines), with the GPU (7900XTX) getting warm when on foot.

I'm about to head to my other home next weekend and only have a 7800XT there and am hoping it'll do the same setting.

The big stutters are what's still annoying me now. The FPS thing from the game claims 90 (I had to lower it for superampling) and doesn't drop below about 86, yet the whole screen is clearly doing the likes of 3 or 4 FPS for half a second or so, such as when the station pops in view when you drop from supercruise
