That's a shame. While Brett is absolutely right of course, pointless polls were an amusing part of this forum's culture.

I know we've been polled to death, I know the Mods are volunteers and do what they can, but I have to say it...

This forum is a shambles.

It has the worst search feature I have ever encountered in 18 years+ of BBSing. Being admonished for a thread necro, rather than starting yet another new one on the same topic - that is the opposite of how a tight ship is run, IMO.
It needs a lady called Bira in charge.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Something needed to be done about the polls trying to manufacture consensus and start flame wars, but I miss things like Bran's weekend polls.

I find it works much better to get google to do it for you.

Took me so long to find the thread I first saw it in, I just googled "searching within a site" instead...

Seriously there are rehab centers for all kinds of addictions but I have searched and there is not a single poll rehab facility on the planet !!!

I need help or a small fix, can I buy a poll from a poll pusher? I know it won't be a quality poll but at this point I don't care I need my fix.

I have to stop now typing now the sweat is dripping on my keyboard making it hard to type and with the shakes I have this is getting too hard.
