How do i overcharge the airlock?

So i did start odyssey and found me in a training mission.

So far so good. I had some issues with cutting things open at the SAV. Ok now im at the energy builing did cut open the energy transfer and did load it. Game tells me is locked and i should overcharge the air lock.
I dont know how to do so. Im standing there the only option is where i already charged power in. Holding charge but nothing happens.
Mission points me to that thing. Is there an option to switch to overcharge or something?

Have you tried pressing R to set your charge tool to overcharge?

Yeh I changed it to that because that's on my mouse. The point was though that's the bind (and the reason I mentioned what bind it was is because not everyone has even bound that control in the tutorial. All my binds were blank when I started). It's no issue, I was only joking really.

I have the same problem i went to second door in tutoriial i charget it no problem just main one im stuck it wont charge at all ?? any ideas its so confusing and half of the keys binding went missing typical update every time i think mine is buged i bind everything still no luck ? I was buged for me i had to restart checkpoint! Then its saying i need to use energy linktool to overcharge the airlock and its not working this some one reason to hate ED new dlc on day one its too much confushing and broken

Have same problem mate. Will give it another 24 hrs

If you cannot overcharge the door lock in the Tutorial despite you switched to the right mode, exit/enter the game will fix it.
