How do I pay off 500 credit bounty?

I got a 500 credit bounty, so looked up the nearest interstellar factor, went there and can't find anyway to pay the bounty.
The contacts tab looked just the same as any other, no interstellar factor.
Have tried several others, with no luck.
What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure it's a bounty and not a fine. If it is a bounty then it sounds like a bug as you should be able to pay it off at intersteller factors. Bug report it.

In a system with multiple stations/orbitals/outposts not all of them may have a factor. Also I used GalMap to find one last night and there was at least one system where I couldn't locate any non-planetary asset having one listed in the details tab. Although I didn't look at planets.

You'll probably need a large pad.

However there's definitely one in the station at Feldr. IF that's near where you are.

No pun intended.

Is your Notoriety greater than 0 - that is one way you wouldnt be able to pay off fine at the IF.

Check your contacts tab, is it definitely a bounty?

Is the IF in a FED space and bounty incurred in a non FED space (repeat for Imp or alliance), then I dont think IF's can pay off bounties for other super powers, ie. Fed IF can clear FED bounties, Imp can clear Imp etc?

If it isn't any of these I would log a bug with support....

It says in the transactions tab 500 credit bounty.
When I go to my local station and click on contacts it says I have to pay bounty at an interstellar faction.
when i go to a system with interstellar faction all the stations just have the normal contact tab, with no interstellar factions.

The map seems rather more optimistic about where they are than it should be.

Try using the security filter for "Low security" instead - that should be mostly equivalent.

Are you still in the same ship that you received the bounty in? The bounty is tied to the ship you were in when you received it now. Just found that out myself.

Of course you need to be looking for "Broker Network" not "Interstellar Factor" in the info tab...

This. Filter low security, then hit a system, hover over the stations to see 'services' on the right. It needs to have 'broker network' unless they changed the naming for 3.0, which would have been wise. lol
