How do I pay off a Bounty?

It should be able to be paid so that way you are not wanted anymore and if that was the case then there needs to be a timer next to your bounty in the transaction tab but there isn't anymore since update. I dont go around killing clean ships. Was just a simple test but also like i said i have other friends that cant seem to clear there fines or bounties also so idk, thinking its definitely a bug in the game at the moment.

I am having the same problem myself. I wanted to test out what would happen if i rammed a clean ship to death and i got a 5000 credit bounty. I went to a interstellar factor and when i clicked on the bounty it didnt clear it or take any money and now today i tried again but now the bounty is red and cant even click it at the interstellar factor place. Ive also tried paying it in system that i received it in but it doesnt show up there that i have one but im definitely wanted. Also this in in my Chieftain. I have friends that are having the same problems and cant clear the bounties. I also have no notoriety so idk what else to do here. Im thinking its bugged if this many people are having the same problems.

Sandy did mention a bug with not being able to pay at the IF. Maybe that. Maybe fixed now. Maybe.
