How do I retract my guns??

Hi.

In premium beta, you hit the return key to retract your guns. I've just defended myself from a pirate and now find I can't supercruise. If I hit return, all that happens is comms window opens.

What key do I need to press to retract them?

Sounds like your bindings got messed up. It's still the enter key for me, as before. Just hit escape, go to controls, and see what it's set to, or if it is at all.

For me it's U as default

When I started the default key was 'U'

There is a key command that deploys and retracts them as well. Check your control bindings.

 

[Space]

By default U is allocated to retract/deploy hard points.
