How do I see content of rings?

I am looking for osmium. I believe that I have found that before in a ring in the Colonia system. You used to be able to see the metallic content of rings, in the system screen, I think? Now I can't see that information. How can i find the material content of rings? FSS seems to only show the materials of the planet, and anyway, when in a space station planning the route, is not available.
How do I find my materials?

Osmium, for example, was never listed anywhere. You'd have to know it was a metal of sort and available in Metallic Rings or Metal rich rings.
Like low temp diamonds are available in Ice rings, yet low temp diamonds aren't listed anywhere.

Enter FSS and scan the system and you should access, just like before, the information about the rings on the system map, like the picture below:

You know know if it's pristine or depleted reserve (or anything in between) and also know the rough composition (rocky, metal rich, mettalic or icy)

If you have a Detail surface scanner onboard, you can now (3.3 version) lob a probe on the ring and have a chance to see hotspots on that ring. This will tell you if there are concentrations of say, osmium, or painite at certains spots... but sometimes you get no more info and have to just give chance a go.

Not sure I'm making sense... good luck out there.
