actually it worked now. Just fly the ship like within 200 meters of the licensed toxic waste collector, you get only 45 credits or so however per container you give him
Useful to know. I picked up some toxic containers today.
1. They were near a dead Cobra. As I got very close to the first container pickup the Cobra exploded. I was reversing away at that point, to get a better approach angle on the containers, and worried I'd clip the dead ship. Not sure what would have happened if I'd been in near proximity to the dead ship when it went boom.
2. I collected 3 tons of Toxic Waste. Every five minutes I got an alert it was damaging internal devices. It took 1% off Engines, Power Plant, etc. I was down to 99% on 4 items. Good news, the repairs only cost 4Cr.
3. I just couldn't find the toxic waste clean-up ship. I went to maybe six more Unidentified Signals. I recall last week passing on some Toxic Waste canisters (unsure what they did), but then on my immediate next signal came across the waste clean-up ship.
Fun to try, but interesting to note it's only 45Cr per ton. I wonder what a station would do if it scanned a ship bringing that inside. And would a black market accept it.
I jettisoned the 3 tons in favour of more lucrative found cargo.
