How do I set the graphics display to my dedicated GPU?

So i've set my NVIDIA Control Panel to use my dedicated graphics for all applications, and I've even set the program "Planet Coaster" to use my GPU. However when I load the game up and go into the graphics settings it's still showing that I'm using the integrated intel card. Is there a way that I can override this because i'm going on vacation in a bit and I want to know if the game will run on my machine.

Setting it in the control panel should work.

You could always try disabling the IGP using Device Manager, though that would affect battery life on a laptop.
