How do I spot a thief or vandalism activity?

It's very easy to spot them...just look at their thoughts and they have something like: "I'm going after your pocket".

Many moons ago I do write on forums for a complete security based system which was semi automated, one of the ideas was for the security guards/cameras (once trained/advanced) to see things in different colours. This would mean when in security mode you can click through cameras and see things in red, yellow and green red being real bad and this would give you guys more chance to kick out the pickpockets and vandals.
