How do I switch between my fire groups?

I've been playing for two months and still don't know how. I'm using the default control scheme with a regular controller.

I hold down X and then use RB and LB to cycle. Holding down buttons will pop up a menu revealing what button you have chosen..

We've all been that on that one pal don't worry about it . Another quick tip turn off anything you dont use in your right hand control panel . You can squeeze a good couple of percent out of your power plant with this trick and make sure low priority modules are a high number so they shut down first. Apologies if you know all this just thought it might help.

Oh sorry for the misinformation then. I didn't look at my controls for ages, thought I played on default.
